Hard to get help

Its hard to get someone on the phone. Have to redial hundred times. Ive tried weekdays and weekends. When you go to branch you have to suffer with long queue

It is sad to give my main bank account a review, I experienced the worst them after years of stashing my money in the bank. I am opening a Dollar account and my main CSA is great, but there are senior CSA beside her that is furious about it. She is asking for a confidential document which is my employer's contract to me. Well, I calmly approach and ask questions but she is still into her attitude, I know that there is a better way to engage with the customer. So out of my frustration, I calmly get out of the bank and I opened my other bank account, From there I received the most convenient and correct way of opening a dollar account, I don’t know if BPI is starting to hire an unmannered employee. I hope they will improve and learn some good manners from their customer.

WORST BANK! Save yourself the trouble and bank somewhere else

Poor customer service. Their employee was very rude to me the last time I was at the bank trying to follow up on my card. Imagine having to wait in line for 3 HOURS just to be mistreated. I was so shocked that I did not even had the chance to respond. I just went ahead almost teary-eyed from that experience. Shoutout to BPI RIZAL AVENUE BRANCH. Not everyone was rude though, I am very understanding when it comes to employees since delays are usually not their fault. But you could at least have the decency to treat your clients with respect. When I tried to go online hoping their Customer support could help me with my problem, they were just indifferent when I told them that I might close my account since there were so many red flags already. And don't even get me started with the online application. It was a nightmare. I would really just close my account with them. such incompetence.

Even simple things are complicated to BPI

Most of my banking has been with BPI in the PHilippines because I had to have a local account to purchase a condo. My agent helped me get the account. I have been angry since that day. They have no concept of online services. They allow very minimal online actions and most of the time the server is down. Customer service is a joke. I just spent 2 hours trying to pick up my debit card. Something that should simply be mailed to my address on record. Any other action requiring customer service must be dont through the branch where you opened the account. They have no access to your records at any other branch. This bank is 25 years behind other banks. Online services have been around since the internet was started...time to get with it BPI. Im going today and open an account at BDO and close my BPI account for good. Too many headaches to count. Dont open an account here!!! Run away as fast as you can to BDO, China Bank or any other bank. Tehy are all improvements over this institution.
