I’ve had the most frustrating experience with ICICI Bank over the past few months. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 5 years, but my recent interactions with their customer service have been terrible.
In June, I applied for a personal loan, and after providing all the required documents, I was told it would be processed in 7 working days. It’s now September, and I’ve been going back and forth with them, with no clear updates. Every time I call, I’m either put on hold for 20+ minutes or transferred between departments. I’ve been promised call-backs multiple times, which never happen, and when I finally reached someone, they told me my application had been "misplaced" and I needed to submit the documents again!
It’s ridiculous that a bank can be so unorganized and unhelpful, especially when I’ve been a long-time customer. I expected better service and accountability. I’m seriously considering switching to a different bank, as this has been an absolute nightmare.
