Krungsri partners with Kyndryl to revolutionise its workplace efficiency

Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL) has teamed up with Kyndryl, a global leader in IT infrastructure services, to modernise its workplace by implementing Microsoft 365 E3. This collaboration aims to streamline internal operations and enhance employee and customer experiences. 

Enhancing workplace efficiency and security 

As part of digital transformation, Kyndryl's solution provides Krungsri with increased operational efficiency, smoother processes, and better continuity in the bank's operations. Microsoft 365 E3 deployment allows Krungsri staff to work remotely with critical tools for communication, collaboration, and information sharing. The solution not only enables the hybrid work model but also maintains compliance with the stringent banking industry standards. 

Kyndryl's hybrid working environment expertise guarantees that Krungsri staff is able to work anywhere while fulfilling rigorous security needs. The unification of Microsoft's cloud-based offerings is also enhancing operational necessities through flexibility and compliance with banking laws and data protection policies. 

Simplified identity management and operational resilience 

Apart from enhancing workflow effectiveness, Kyndryl has assisted Krungsri in simplifying the identity verification process to ensure greater security and operational integrity. Using Microsoft's high-level platform services, the bank can more effectively track and restore IT systems in the event of any disruption, lowering risks substantially. This method also facilitates smoother customer transactions and enhances overall customer service resolution. 

Pochara Vanaratseath, head of Krungsri’s information technology group, shared his appreciation for Kyndryl’s role in supporting the bank’s transformation. He emphasised that these advancements are aligned with Krungsri’s core commitment to making customers’ lives easier by providing quicker responses and smoother services, in line with the bank's brand promise: “Make Life Simple”. 

Through this strategic partnership, Krungsri will be able to embrace new ways of working and enhance its operating efficiency while at the same time improving customer service and protecting sensitive information.
